Suitcase Situations

Today, Shelley (one of my travelling companions) and I have carried out some pre-travel chores.

We visited the Chinese massage studio for a pummelling and general all round loosen up prior to hitting a long haul flight.  Shell felt her loosening up was almost going to rip her head off and I was just stoked with the pain endured.  I'm not happy unless I walk out of one of those Chinese massages in bruises    ...Job hasn't been done properly if I'm not bruised to the hilt.

(These are not my legs, snap grabbed from internet - I thought it was funny)

Then we sauntered off for the mani/pedi experience.  This was a pretty new nail bar and the massage chairs were something to be experienced...  The chairs even offered an unusual and unnecessary kneading of the rectal area, something we weren't expecting and geez we got a great laugh out of it!!

We headed home and booked the three Las Vegas shows we've decided on seeing.  Then came the chore of suitcase culling.  Shell is a very experienced international traveller and her expertise of suitcase culling was invaluable.  Good news is, I had packed relatively efficiently in the first place and only needed to cull a few items.  But let me tell you, packing for two seasons is difficult.  While it is 40 degrees in Perth at the moment, the notion of packing of thermals, coats, boots, scarves and gloves is just crazy.
